PICCA is the first and only real attempt of camera manufacturing in Greece.
Mr. D. Picopoulos the founder of the CAMERA SERVICE PICOPOULOS co. designed the Picca in 1953 and set it into production in 1954.
The camera was a complete Greek production except for the lenses which had to be imported from Germany.
400 piece's were made.
Unfortunately the Picca attempt was made at the same time with the plastic revolution in industry fact which made the full metallic parts Picca expensive to produce.
Today only a few pieces are known to be in existence around the world which are rare collectors items
